Social Media Campaign: National PTA's #FamiliesRead Summer Reading Social Media Challenge

In partnership with Amazon, the National PTA Family Reading Experience, Powered by Kindle program launched a family reading challenge to keep the joy of reading alive with families during summer.

managed the digital strategy and blogger outreach and developed social media content to promote the campaign. The challenge kicked off during the start of the 2015 National PTA Convention & Expo with a blog party of more than 30 mommy and daddy bloggers who shared posts about their family memories, reading tips and activities with their children.

In addition, the campaign included a YouTube video series that garnered 10,466 video views and 12,959 visitors to the campaign microsite that included sample graphics, reading tidbits, quizzes, games and more.

In fall, we launched an Amazon Kindle giveaway to PTA members. We encouraged PTA members to participate and kicked it off during National Reading Month in this Facebook Live!
